I ran into Charley Groth at Sweetwater Farms this past weekend and he had some news I wanted to pass along. He has a new CD out and will be having a CD release party over at the Bluegrass Shop on April 17th. So I would encourage everyone to go over and support Charley and the Bluegrass Shop for that.

Here is the email he sent out with all the details....

Hi friends...

Charley Groth writing. I'm at home in Florida for a little while, having returned from a tour in England a few days ago. In a couple of weeks I'll hit the road again, this time on a long, long tour that will take me first to California and then on around the world to the South Pacific (islands, New Zealand). England was fun. California will be fun. The South Pacific will be fun. I can tell you this, though: It is GREAT TO BE HOME for a little while!! YES!!

Some of you may know I have a new CD out, the title song of which is "I Would Do It All Again", a ballad of love and the cycle of life that I wrote some years ago but had not recorded until now. The CD has been out for a while and I'm happy to say is doing quite well. I've been on the road so much, though, and have been so busy I have not been able to have a CD release party. So... on Saturday April 12, beginning at 7 PM, at the Bluegrass Shop, 4125 66th Street, St. Petersburg, Florida, I'll be doing a concert, as part of the Bluegrass Shop's concert series, and supported by some fine musician friends, that will let me offer some music to my "home folks" (all of you), and that will serve as a CD release party as well!

It would be great if you could make it to that show. I'd like to see your faces, and say hello, find out how you've been doing, and make some music for you. I really miss being around Florida folks, who are my home folks, after all. If you're not from Florida, then for sure you're from somewhere, and I'd like to see you too! :-))

The Bluegrass Shop is the kind of place we need to have and need to support, in Florida and everywhere around the world. You'll enjoy it. Admission to the concerts is $15.
