The Claire Lynch Band will be live in concert at The Pinellas Park Performing Arts Center on Friday, March 7, 2008. The were in town last fall as a part of the Bluegrass Strings and Crafty Things Festival in Largo. Thay did an great show at the festival and I'm sure they will do a great show here in March. Since they were here last they have changed bass players. Missy Raines left the band to form her own group and Claire has picked up Mark Shatz to be the new bass player. Mark has played with many great bands in the past and most recently was the bass player for Nickel Creek. In addition to Claire and Mark the band also includes Jim Hurst, one of the finest guitar player you will ever hear,and Jason Thomas frm right here in central florida on the Fiddle and Mandolin. It will be a great show and I am looking forward to it very much.
